Alarm Monitoring Systems
The System 3505 manufactured by Digitize, Inc. is one of the most versatile alarm receiving consoles available. It is used by municipalities and industrial complexes for receiving alarms from their 100 MA municipal fire alarm system (the red fire alarm box on the street corner) or from their radio fire alarm system. It is used by governmental agencies for decoding alarms from pump stations and fan plants. It accepts multiplexed alarm inputs, dry contact inputs, end of line supervised contacts, and reverse polarity inputs. This allows door status, intrusion, high/low temperature, pressure, humidity, or process control functions to be monitored. The system communicates over copper, fiber, or radio. When used in conjunction with the Computerized Graphics Response and Monitoring System (CGRMS), floor plans showing alarm locations can be displayed. With the pager option, alarm conditions can automatically activate alphanumeric pagers to alert people of an abnormal situation.
